Who we are

Translations Universe was founded in 2011 to make professional language services accessible, responsive and organized. We work online with Italian and international clients while maintaining a real operational base in Martina Franca, Southern Italy.

Every project is assessed by language pair, sector, audience, intended use, format and deadline. Specialist content is not assigned to a generic linguist: subject-matter competence is part of the selection process.

Human translation, translation memories, glossaries, MTPE and AI localization are not interchangeable products. We combine them only when they create a practical advantage in quality, consistency, timing or budget.

How we select language professionals

The previous website described a rigorous verification process. We have retained it and made it easier to understand.

Verifiable experience

We require relevant education, a professional CV and at least three years of documented linguistic or subject-matter experience.

Native language and sector

Linguists work into their native language and are selected by field: legal, financial, fashion, nautical, medical or digital.

Testing and reliability

We assess linguistic quality, instruction compliance, availability, daily capacity and punctuality before ongoing assignments.

Confidentiality

Collaborators and linguists are bound by agreements and internal rules prohibiting disclosure of client data and documents.
