Reading summary
1. Services and organization
Translations Universe provides translation, revision, transcription and localization through project managers and native-language professionals selected by language pair and subject area.
2. Online ordering and confirmation
Clients may commission services through the online ordering tool or an approved quotation. Languages, service, subject area, files, guidelines, price and timing are reviewed by project management under the applicable procedure.
3. Word count, prices and payments
Pricing may depend on source-word count, language pair, subject area, service and file format. The historical online system applies a €10 minimum charge and supports PayPal, card and bank-transfer payments.
4. Guidelines and formats
Clients must provide readable files and complete instructions. Unless agreed otherwise, files are returned in the original format; conversion or DTP work may require separate assessment and charges.
5. Timing and priority service
Delivery times are confirmed in writing. Priority service, where available, is intended to reduce standard turnaround and carries a 35% supplement in the historical online system.
6. Quality, corrections and complaints
Comments and complaints must identify the disputed content and the instructions allegedly not followed. Translations Universe may offer corrections, review, reassignment or a refund depending on the circumstances and the original document.
7. Withdrawal and refunds
Withdrawal conditions depend on project progress, file readability, word-count accuracy, payment and compliance with instructions. Work already completed and transfer costs may be retained where the original terms allow.
8. Confidentiality and data
Translators and collaborators are subject to confidentiality obligations. Data processing is governed by the Privacy Policy, and a dedicated NDA can be arranged on request.
9. Certified and sworn translations
Certification, sworn translation, Apostille and legalization are separate procedures. The client must verify the receiving authority's requirements; revenue stamps, originals, shipping and administrative procedures are assessed separately.
