WPML Translation Hub, WordPress, Shopify, Magento and Crowdin

Send WordPress content and receive translations directly in your website

We connect your WordPress website with Translations Universe through WPML Translation Hub. You receive an Activation Key and API Token, authenticate the service once and then send pages, products and strings from the Translation Dashboard without copy and paste or translator access to your backend.

Guided connection

We add the client in WPML Translation Hub and email the credentials with clear instructions.

Send from WordPress

Select pages, posts, products, taxonomies and strings in the WPML Translation Dashboard.

Translations returned

Completed translations are returned through the WPML workflow while preserving structure and content links.

Connect WPML in four steps

Translations Universe creates the client profile in WPML Translation Hub. WPML can send the initial connection email; when needed, our administration area can securely resend the Activation Key and API Token.

In WordPress, open WPML → Translation Management → Manage Translators & Services. If Translations Universe is not displayed, choose the option to activate a service not listed, enter the Activation Key and then authenticate it with the API Token.

  • Share the website URL, company, languages and contact person
  • Receive the Activation Key and API Token
  • Activate Translations Universe in WPML
  • Select content and target languages
  • Send jobs and receive translations in WordPress

Content you can send through WPML

The workflow can include pages, posts, custom post types, WooCommerce products, categories, taxonomies, menus, compatible page-builder content and theme or plugin strings. We review the configuration before launch.

Linguists work on content received through the Translation Hub or exported XLIFF files. In the standard workflow they do not need WordPress backend access.

Jobs, quotations and payments

WPML transfers content and job status, but it does not process payment for the linguistic service. Quotations, commercial approval, invoicing and payment remain managed directly by Translations Universe through the customer portal.

For each delivery we verify language pairs, volume, format, repeated content and technical requirements. Translation memories, glossaries and QA checks can also be used for WPML content.

Beyond WordPress

Shopify, Magento, PrestaShop and other platforms can be handled through apps, connectors, Crowdin or structured exports. We support CSV, XML, JSON, XLIFF and related formats while preserving keys, tags, placeholders and variables.

The workflow is selected according to the platform, volume and update frequency, with the goal of avoiding manual copy and paste, version errors and incomplete publication.
